Jay-Z made an announcement in a press conference Monday morning, saying the New Jersey Nets has been changed to "Nets in Brooklyn." The team will also change its colors, which will be when the new Barclays Center was completed in September 2012.Jay-Z, who is also a minority owner of the team will conduct a series of eight concerts to mark the opening of the center.
