Cowboys Continue Resiliency With 18-16 Victory

Tuesday 27 September 2011

The Cowboys appear to continue to find ways to stay in games and win exciting way. One thing is clear that the Cowboys did not fold, those days are over. According to Jason Garrett, the Cowboys showed some surprising resilience capabilities against all odds that would make most teams fade. There was a lot of adversity, but the Cowboys came shoulder to shoulder with the Redskins and left the victory. How about that defense? Suffocating. Rob Ryan, the defensive unit to play out of their minds, it was tonight, the championship caliber defense.

Best performances: Sean Lee, DeMarcus Ware, Anthony Spencer, Dan Bailey, Tony Romo, Dez Bryant, Jason Witten

Worst performance: Phil Costa (downgrade), Martellus Bennett, Kevin Olgetree, Doug Free

In the future, the running game remains a concern, not enough on the bottom opening, which leaves us in the third too long. In addition, the receiving corps is very thin at the moment, and seems to be lost there. Dez is still clearly below 100%, but still made big plays, no one really stepped up.

The central location is a closer look. Phil Costa is a complete garbage when he played, it might be time to make a change Kowalski.

Lions come to Dallas and will be a great challenge on both sides of the ball. The mental health problems and poor play on offense will need to be cleaned up for Sunday.
